About Me

Bart Bjorkman
Bart Bjorkman is primarily a "people" tracker for search and rescue and law enforcement - although he has been known to track anything that moves. His initial training was through Universal Tracking Services where he achieved the highest level of training - "Sign Cutter". Formerly an instructor for the Justice Institute of British Columbia training search and rescue members in the art of tracking, Bjorkman was the Director of Training for the British Columbia Tracking Association Society (BCTA) where he previously served as a regional director, vice president and chairman of the training standards committee. Bjorkman authored the training manual used by the BCTA for "track aware" training as well as the manuals used by Northern Tracker for search and rescue and military tracker training. Featured with fellow tracker "Darcy Fear" on the television series "Call Out", Bjorkman has tracked from the tundra of the High Arctic to the jungles of Central America. A college diploma in Criminal Justice and a certificate in Forensic Science from Ashworth University compliments a lifetime of backcountry experience and military service in the Canadian Special Services Force.
